Shuttle to and from Kansas City International Airport

For many people flying to the NAGA Hunting Club Conference, the Kansas City International Airport is the best option. The airport is two hours from Manhattan, Kansas. While many may prefer to rent a car and come and go on their own schedule, NAGA will provide a shuttle from Kansas City International on Sunday, July 16 at 5 PM, and a second shuttle on Monday, July 17 at 10 AM. A shuttle from the Bluemont Hotel in Manhattan, Kansas, will make the return trip back to Kansas City International Airport departing at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, July 19.

Those wishing to take advantage of this option need to email Rob Sexton at rob@northamericangamebird.com and include which shuttle options need to be reserved.

Student Pricing

With the conference located adjacent to Kansas State University, it’s a great opportunity for students interested in the gamebird industry. Students from any university who are enrolled in the Gamebird Management, Wildlife and Outdoor Enterprise Management or Hospitality programs can register for the conference for a special $150 price (a $200 discount).

For early birds, the news gets even better. Flint Oak Lodge and Keith and Debra Houghton have generously offered to pay the registration fee for the first 15 students who sign up for the conference. This benefit is first come, first served. Use code “freestudent23” at registration checkout.

Meals Included

Conference registration includes dinner on Monday night, lunch and dinner on Tuesday and lunch on Wednesday. The Bluemont Hotel is providing breakfast to those staying on property. Rooms can be reserved for $117 per night.

“Generous donations by our sponsors have allowed NAGA to offer the Hunting Club Conference at an affordable price for regular attendees and students,” said Conference Committee Chairman and NAGA Vice President Mike Martz. “Combined with the low hotel rate and with meals included, it’s a great deal, and is well worth the money.”

Registration is open for the Hunting Club Conference and can be found at northamericangamebird.com, along with the full agenda and lodging information.
