Join Emily Ellis of the Animal Agriculture Alliance for practical insights on hiring practices that help protect your operation....
The gamebird business is an extremely attractive target for animal rights groups because we encompass two things they hate most: livestock agriculture and hunting. These vulnerabilities are why NAGA supports non-profit advocacy groups that protect our right to hunt, such as the Sportsmen’s Alliance, and our right to raise birds, which is protected by the Animal Agriculture Alliance.
The Animal Agriculture Alliance is an expert on animal rights extremists and their tactics, such as “undercover” videos, faith-based outreach, pressuring restaurants, and retailers, targeting investors. They have been a frequent presenter at NAGA events discussing farm and facility security, crisis management, and how to use social media for proactive communication about agriculture.
The Convention’s Tuesday session at the Plaza San Antonio Hotel & Spa is sponsored by the Kuhl Corporation. The session kicks off at 8:30 a.m. with a critical presentation from the organization’s Director of Communications, Emily Ellis. Emily will be presenting “Hiring Practices to Keep the Antis Out,” which will help NAGA members prevent infiltration of their farms by extremists.
“I can state with full confidence that this year’s agenda covers nearly every aspect of useful information for gamebird business operators,” said NAGA President Sarah James. “We’re excited to have Emily back with us, and to reveal additional featured speakers over the next several weeks.”
