It’s election time for the North American Gamebird Association. There are four positions open on the NAGA Board of Directors for 2025, with five candidates vying for your vote. NAGA members get to choose their leadership – this is your chance to influence the direction of the organization.
Please read the biographies below of the five nominees (listed in alphabetical order), then fill out the ballot that was included in the September/October issue of NAGA News and mail it in before October 5. NAGA’s completely volunteer board of directors does excellent work on your behalf. Help choose the four board members who will represent you and your business.

John Booth

John Booth, the co-owner of Dutch Country Pheasants, LLC, a pheasant farm, is deeply rooted in the community. John's partner is Amish and they raise all their birds on Amish farms. They are currently raising starter pheasants, mature pheasants and chukar. John holds free biosecurity training and planning yearly, inviting anyone who wants to attend. His active role on the Kansas Sports Hunting Association board and as the Kansas NPIP delegate further solidifies his commitment to the community.
John understands the value of NAGA and the power of our collective voices. NAGA is a community of producers and hunting clubs that want to enhance the industry.
Andy Hairston

Andy Hairston is co-owner of Little Canyon Shooting, an upland bird shooting preserve with one location in Idaho and one location in Washington. He is also co-owner of Hairston Farms, LLC, a wholesale upland bird provider, selling eggs, chicks, started and mature birds. Andy is married to his wife Diane and has two sons, Brandt and Kyle.
Andy currently serves on NAGA’s Audit, Nominating and Scholarship Committees.
Rick Kuhl

Rick has served on the NAGA Board the past nine years and has served on several committees, including chairing the Convention Committee. Rick has been a convention speaker on two separate occasions, and has attended convention since 1984.
Rick brings the perspective of a third-generation gamebird industry vendor to the board. Kuhl Corporation is the world’s largest manufacturer/supplier of equipment for the gamebird and poultry industry. In business since 1909, Kuhl Corporation has had a representative attending NAGA Convention back to the 1950s. Kuhl Corporation has demonstrated their support of NAGA as a Diamond Sponsor for multiple years.
Rick would like to see increased membership, increased attendance at NAGA Convention and Hunting Club Convention and increased vendor participation.
Taylor Williams

Taylor Williams is the Director of Operations at Milford Hills. Milford Hills is the only Orvis, and Shooting Sportsman endorsed preserve in the state of Wisconsin. He has been the Director of Operations since the summer of 2018. Taylor has served on the NAGA Hunting Club Conference Committee for two years, and has also presented on three occasions at the Hunting Club Conference and Annual Convention. Locally, he also serves as a Director for the Wisconsin Game Preserve Association. Taylor is married to his wife Anna. Together they have twin 3-year-old children, Caleb and Nora.
Tim Zindl

Tim is the owner of Oak Ridge Pheasant Ranch, a third-generation producer of pheasants and chukar.
Tim has served on the NAGA board for 20+ years, has been a speaker at numerous conventions and has served as NAGA President two terms. Tim is currently the President of the Wisconsin Game Preserve Association.
Tim’s family has had a long history of supporting NAGA and is looking forward to help NAGA continue and grow in the future.
