A key theme of the 2026 NAGA Convention in February was succession planning — in other words, preparing for who will take over as older decision-makers transition out of leadership roles. Attendees at the 5th Annual NAGA Hunting Club Conference, set for July 20-22, 2026, in Omaha, Nebraska, will receive a presentation on this topic and, more importantly, learn how effective succession planning begins well before the anticipated transition.
Successful transitions start by identifying emerging leaders and bringing them along early. The North American Gamebird Association strongly supports this approach and has incorporated it into the Hunting Club Conference.
Since the first conference in 2022, every first-time attendee has received a free NAGA membership as part of their registration. This membership includes an annual subscription to NAGA News, the official publication of the gamebird industry. But that’s not all.
Any first-time attendee at the 2026 Hunting Club Conference is also eligible to win a full scholarship. Pennsylvania’s Mahantongo Game Farms and 3T Products are sponsoring this promotion for the second consecutive year. The scholarship covers the full cost of attending the conference for one first-time attendee. The winner will be announced on the first day of the conference during the opening night Welcome Dinner, sponsored by Mallard Bay.
The Mahantongo Game Farms Early Bird Scholarship will reimburse the full cost of registration, three nights of lodging and meals during the conference — an approximately $1,000 value. Register today for a chance to win.
It’s not just for first-time attendees. Anyone who registers by June 15 will be entered into a drawing for a commemorative Early Bird Shotgun, sponsored by MTM Pheasants. This year’s firearm is a Weatherby Element semi-automatic 12-gauge, featuring the NAGA logo along with the year and location of the conference.
