From field to table, a flavorful start to NAGA 2026...
While much of the annual NAGA Convention focuses on serious topics that directly impact the bottom line, the Convention Committee also builds in sessions that are both practical and enjoyable. One such presentation will take place on the opening day of the 2026 convention.
Roger Andersen, author of Pheasant Recipes to Kill For, will lead a cooking demonstration featuring several of his favorite recipes from the book. Convention attendees will have the opportunity to sample the dishes while learning preparation techniques they can use themselves.
Using pheasants provided by MacFarlane Pheasants, Andersen will showcase dishes with distinctive names including Country Captain Recipe, North Dakota Mor Mor’s Pheasant Dip, Thailand Tom Ka Pheasant and Pheasant S.O.S.
“Whether you use these recipes to serve at your own hunt club or recommend them to your hunting customers, this presentation is both useful and enjoyable,” said NAGA President Mike Martz. “It’s a great way to kick off the 2026 convention.”
Registration remains open for the 2026 NAGA Convention. Registration details, lodging information and vendor and sponsorship opportunities are available at NorthAmericanGamebird.com/tickets/convention-registration.
“But don’t wait too long,” Martz said. “We’ve already filled one hotel block and are now utilizing overflow lodging. Make your plans to attend today.”
