Gamebird businesses log hundreds of thousands of miles each year, shipping birds to all points in the continental United States and even Canada. But do you know what it takes to comply with state and federal shipping laws while hauling birds?

How to stay legal on the highway is one of the top requested presentation topics you’ll be able to see during the upcoming annual convention – January 22-24, at the Holiday Inn Disney Springs. On Wednesday, January 24th, attendees will hear from an expert on the subject: Jeff Sanderson, Division Administrator for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

Whether it be hours behind the wheel or regulations aimed at hauling livestock, attendees can ask Jeff questions to ensure bird shippers comply with federal laws.

Jeff is inviting NAGA members to send in your bird-hauling questions ahead of time to give him a chance to research any topics attendees want to cover during the conversation. Questions should be emailed to rob@northamericangamebird.com.
