Connections and Fun Featured in Charleston

Networking, raffles and hospitality hours highlight the 2026 NAGA Convention experience...

The 2026 NAGA Convention in Charleston, South Carolina is less than a month away and most attendees have already heard about the strong educational agenda and expansive vendor presence. However, the gamebird industry’s annual flagship event also makes room for connection and camaraderie, giving attendees time to relax, network and enjoy the experience.

The convention runs Monday, February 2 through Wednesday, February 4 at the Hyatt House and Hyatt Place in Charleston’s Historic District. The event officially opens Monday at 12:45 p.m. in the Grand Magnolia Ballroom. That evening at 5:00 p.m., NAGA will welcome attendees at the Welcome Reception sponsored by Star Labs.

On Tuesday morning, February 3 at 7:15 a.m., women attending the convention are invited to join Hatch Tracker for the second annual Ladies Coffee and Convos, featuring sweet treats and hot coffee. All women registered for the NAGA Convention are welcome to attend. Men may participate if accompanied by one of the women.

Tuesday’s morning sessions conclude at 12:15 p.m., leaving the remainder of the day open for attendees to explore and enjoy one of America’s most historic cities.

Wednesday is the most active day of the convention, beginning at 8:15 a.m., breaking for lunch at noon and concluding the program at 5:00 p.m.

Throughout the three-day event, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the official 2026 NAGA Convention raffle shotgun, a Browning Maxus II 12-gauge autoloader. Tickets are available for $20 each or seven tickets for $100 and may be purchased online during registration or onsite during the convention.

NAGA sponsor members are automatically entered into the annual Sponsor Appreciation drawing for a CZ Bobwhite 28-gauge side-by-side shotgun. Attendees may upgrade to sponsor membership at any time prior to the drawing on Wednesday evening. Both shotguns are sponsored by Friends of the NAGA.

The Wednesday night drawing will take place during the Annual Awards Banquet sponsored by Elkhorn Farms & Hatchery. The banquet begins at 5:00 p.m. and includes presentation of annual awards, a silent auction sponsored by Lake Elaine Game Farm and a live auction, in addition to the shotgun raffles.

Each evening concludes with hospitality hours, providing attendees an opportunity to unwind, network and reconnect with colleagues and friends.
