One of the most common questions people ask about the 2025 NAGA Hunting Club Conference is, “Where is Tunica, Mississippi?” Many assume it’s far from the heart of the gamebird industry in the Midwest – but that’s not the case.
For many attendees, the decision to drive or fly often hinges on the 8-hour mark, or a range of 500 to 600 miles. Here’s a quick look at how close Tunica is to several major cities:
Nashville – 250 miles
St. Louis – 322 miles
Atlanta – 399 miles
Louisville – 420 miles
Dallas – 463 miles
Oklahoma City – 479 miles
Kansas City – 486 miles
Indianapolis – 502 miles
Cincinnati – 513 miles
Wichita – 588 miles
While Mississippi stretches to the Gulf, Tunica is just south of Memphis, Tennessee. It's right next to Arkansas and only 100 miles from Missouri.
Travel Costs Are a Real Bargain
Drive time isn’t the only reason to attend. Conference registration is still just $325 – unchanged since the inaugural event in 2022. Rooms at the Horseshoe Hotel and Casino are only $90 per night.
“When you consider the agenda, which is the meatiest one yet, and the cheap costs, making the trip to Tunica is a no-brainer,” said Dan Barngrover, who is once again chairing the annual event. “We hope this information helps those who are still on the fence make the decision and register today.”
