Hunting preserves will take center stage at NAGA’s first Hunting Club Conference, which will take place at Deer Creek State Park in Mt. Sterling, Ohio, from July 18 to July 20. The event is the vision of new NAGA President Peg Ballou, who has grown increasingly concerned about the need to unite the entire gamebird community to face industry challenges. Peg rightly understands that to capture the association needs to show value to hunting clubs in order to convince them to join.

The Hunting Club Conference will do just that with an agenda designed by hunting preserves from top to bottom. NAGA assembled a committee of hunting club owners to identify the most significant challenges and the best speakers to address those issues.

Topics Include:

  • Maintaining High-Quality Cover in All Weather and Climate Conditions
  • How to Avoid a Business Ending Event
  • Best Practices to Prevent Employee and Customer Injuries and Accidents
  • Procuring Ammunition in the Tightest Market in History
  • Using Customer Service Software to Retain and Grow Your Customer Base
  • Maintaining Short-Term Holding Pens for Birds
  • Best Social Media Marketing Strategies
  • Gamebird Cooking Demonstration by a Master Chef
  • Efficient Bird Cleaning Operations
  • Managing Hostile Neighbors
