The 2013 North American Gamebird Association Educational Conference and Convention will be held February 4-6, 2013 in Kansas City, Missouri at the Intercontinental Hotel. Situated on the Country Club Plaza in the heart of Kansas City, this prime location boasts excellent dining, shopping and cultural activities for the entire family.

We’ve negotiated a special $99 conference room rate at the Intercontinental Hotel– a special rate which is over 50% off their lowest published rates. Reserve your room now by calling the hotel directly at 866-856-9717. Be sure to mention the NAGA group rate. Don’t wait until the last minute to book your room. After January 13, 2013, our hotel group rate will be closed and you will have to pay full price for your room.

You and your family can catch-up with other NAGA members and vendors that you haven’t seen in a long time at a complimentary welcome reception on Monday evening, February 4th. On-site lunches will be served on February 5th and 6th. Additional meal tickets will be available for purchase if your family members choose to join you for the lunches. And in the evenings, attendees and their guests have the option to convene in our hospitality suite.

The convention will close with our annual banquet, keynote speaker and a benefit auction on Wednesday evening 6th. Banquet tickets will be $65 per person.

The central location of this conference should be a boon to conference attendance, so if you haven’t attended a NAGA convention in a while, now’s the time. The line-up of speakers is impressive and there’s no better place to inform and educate yourself on the latest industry trends and practices.

Additionally, I mentioned spikes on your posts, owl or swan decoys to deter birds congregating around pens. The swan decoys float in the pond and the incoming ducks and geese stay away. Apparently Swans don't play well with others. Huh, who knew?

And a better one of the metal spinner.

This is the tape I mentioned. Kinda like a mylar bag sliced into strips.

Hey, gang, I am attaching some pictures that wouldn't show on the livestream. This is one of the metal spinners I was talking about.

My problem is starlings and sparrows coming through the 2” net
